DEDALE ET ALCHIMISTES
07/05/2025
Daedalus and Alchemists, a project by Véronique Bourgoin and Jeanne Susin.
In Mozinor’s vast hanging garden, visual artist Véronique Bourgoin and musician-composer Jeanne Susin bring their respective worlds together—the process of the Periodic Table of Common Elements and the musical poem La Spineuse.

The work takes the form of an accidental dialogue, composed of a prelude and ten tableaux.
On the steel and cement frame, Véronique Bourgoin reactivates the strategic concrete seats, remnants of former workers’ agoras, to deploy contemplation stations that showcase the 10-year process of research and visual and artistic creations of the “Periodic Table of Common Elements,” which intersects with performances, photographs, sculptures, videos, and ceramics.
Jeanne Susin engages the building’s acoustic structure by playing with its resonant fabric. She introduces an urban fable and a musical poem of sensations, inventing the character of the Spinner, who weaves a hybrid world, between sound material and dreamlike narrative.
A metamorphic electronic music—contemporary, urban, post-romantic, traversed by noise, chanson, and baroque.
Performances by Dana Grigore and François Lecoq. Lyrical singing: Faustine Rousselet, dressed by Ysé Bonachera. Saxophone: Mounir Sefsouf. Composition, keyboard, and programming: Jeanne Susin.
